Intensive driving courses or crash courses as they are sometimes referred to are becoming increasingly popular. Due to the course being taken in a short amount of time, little is forgotten for when the driving test is taken. Ely School of Driving instructors are all fully qualified and at all times friendly and patient. Our high test pass rates are a combination of proven teaching methods gained by years of experience and an attitude to instill confidence in our learners.

How do your intensive courses work?

Your driving instructor will meet you at your desired location. If you have had no previous driving experience, your instructor may take you to a quiet location to begin the intensive course. When the lesson is completed, you will be drive to a location of your choice that can be different from your pick up location if required.

Ely School of Driving do not like to use a set duration for courses as everyone's schedule is different. An intensive course can however be taken in a single week or spread over several depending on your requirements. With many of our learner drivers, an assessment lesson if often taken before the intensive starts. This is to not only start the teaching process but the assess your ability to drive. Based on this, your driving instructor will provide you with an accurate estimation of the hours required.

How much will the intensive course cost? 45 hours of driving lessons is the national average. At Ely School of Driving however, our highly experienced driving instructors combined with our teaching methods allow us to gain test standard in the majority of our learners within 30 hours.
